Fernandes was very good at telling the narrative of her songs through her emotions and body language, so I felt that I was able to follow the direction of the music throughout the show. However, the language barrier didn’t pose a problem at all throughout the show.
She opened the show with her track in English, You’re Still The One, which I thought was great, beginning with a song accessible to the majority of her audience. As well as beig an incredible vocalist, her talent on the guitar is simply astounding, and watching her master the instrument on a live stage, just meters away from her was a true demonstration of the extent of her talent.
In fact, she began her career at just aged 10 when she released her debut album, and began winning awards and nominations soon thereafter. There’s something extremely captivating about country singers, and Paula Fernandes is evidently a seasoned singer, as her mere presence on the stage commands the utmost attention from her audience.
